The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has issued a Joint Decree (SKB – Surat Keputusan Bersama) regarding the Indonesian national holidays 2018. The 2018 national holiday was actually signed on September 22 2017. However, referring to the article on the Ministry of Communication and Information website dated April 18 2018, the government revised National Holidays and Shared Leave for 2018.
The revision is specifically related to the addition of collective leave for Eid al-Fitr 1439 Hijriah plus 3 (three) days. This addition was made before Eid al-Fitr (June 11 and June 12) and after Eid al-Fitr (June 20). This was conveyed by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Puan Maharani.
The signing of the revision was carried out by the Minister of Religion Lukman Saifuddin, the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucracy Asman Abnur and the Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri and witnessed by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani and the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi.
