Mount Bromo has an altitude of 1299 meters above sea level and is known as a major tourist attraction in East Java, Indonesia. This mountain is in the area of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, and still active. The name Bromo itself comes from Sanskrit: Brahma, which is one of the main deities in Hinduism.
The body shape of Mount Bromo is connected between the valley and the canyon with the caldera or sea of sand covering about 10 square kilometers. The ceremony is housed in a temple that is under the foot of Mount Bromo and continued to the top of Bromo. The ceremony takes place from midnight to dawn every full moon around the 14th or 15th of the month of Kasodo (tenth) according to the Java calendar (Wikipedia).
